Summer fun is not only for teens. If you are 65+ and looking for a rewarding way to spend your summer, look no further.
DOROT’s Summer Teen Internship Program brings together a diverse group of teens and older adults for four weeks of sharing stories and perspectives, creating new experiences and enjoying the camaraderie that comes with bridging the generation gap. Volunteer two to four hours a week for four to eight weeks, by phone or Zoom beginning June 27. Attend an informational session to learn more.
DOROT is the Hebrew word for “generations.” The Upper West Side-based non-profit has been bringing the generations together for more than 45 years in a mutually beneficial way to promote greater understanding and respect between generations. Join us and share your wisdom.
