Police are trying to find group of eight people they say committed two assaults on the Upper West Side last month. The people are shown in the surveillance video below.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at approximately 8 p.m. in front of 220 West 71st Street, a 36-year-old male deliveryman was approached by a group of 8 individuals who began to strike him about the body and face. The individual’s fled with the victim’s food and cellphone.
The individuals then approached a 35 year-old male, who was locking up his bicycle in front of 67 Riverside Drive (79th), and began to punch and kick the victim about the head and body before removing his food, wallet and cellphone.
