Jiwon Lee, a student at Columbia’s dental school, has been missing since Wednesday night after last being seen at her apartment on West 98th street. The Columbia Spectator says that her last contact was with her brother over the phone.
“Lee is described by the police report as a 29-year-old female, 5-foot-2, 120-pounds, with black hair and black eyes. According to the police report, she was last seen near her residence at 220 West 98th St. at 8:30 p.m. on April 1…Christiana Simon, a close friend of Lee and an intern at the Columbia University Medical Center, said that Lee’s brother, Matthew, who is a student at CUMC, had last been in contact with his missing sister on Tuesday night over the phone, while she was home.”
A Facebook page has been set up to publicize her disappearance.
