Enrico Miguel Thomas, a very friendly artist who can often be seen drawing the 72nd Street subway station on a subway map (he told me he’s drawn it 100’s of times), has a show up at The City Reliquary in Brooklyn.

Soap opera actor Nick Santino committed suicide after euthanizing his pit bull Rocco, after friends said management and neighbors at One Lincoln Plaza made it difficult to keep the dog (despite allowing him to keep the dog after the building had enacted a no-pit-bull policy). (New York Post)
Flor de Mayo, a Chinese/Peruvian restaurant on 101st and Broadway, was shut down by the Department of Health for violations, including roaches and cold food stored at the wrong temperature. The restaurant also has an 83rd Street location that remains open (although that location also was found to have roaches at its last inspection).The 83rd Street location has a higher rating on Yelp than any other Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood.
