News:
Scarlett Johansson hosted a fundraiser for Borough President (and mayoral candidate) Scott Stringer at the Plaza. A five-story mega-mansion on the corner of 85th Street and Central Park West overlooking the park just hit the market for a cool $30 million. That’s twice as much as it sold for five years ago. What recession? (Curbed)
Captain Christopher McCormack, the commanding officer of the 20th precinct, has been promoted and transferred to the South Bronx. McCormack got high marks from many Upper West Siders and was considered attentive to neighborhood problems. (West Side Spirit)
