The city is moving ahead with a plan to change the signs in New York to make them more readable. Supposedly, signs with a mix of lower-case and upper-case letters are easier to read than signs that are in all-caps. West Side Rag pal @Kale1919 sent us the above photo of a new street sign at Riverside Boulevard and 67th Street.
The feds recently rescinded an order that every all-caps street sign in the country be changed. But signs will have to be changed as they wear out.
