A popular and free end-of-summer fair is set to return to the Upper West Side on Sunday.
The West Side County Fair, part of the Summer on the Hudson programming from the Riverside Park Conservancy, will return to Pier I near West 70th Street on Sunday, September 8.
The fair will take place from 1 to 6 p.m.
There will be live bands, sideshow performers, carnival rides, games, food from local restaurants and trucks, other vendors, cotton candy, and more.
Here are a few of the musicians and other performers that will be there on the day:
- Tamar Korn
- Samoa Wilson
- Square dancing with the City Stompers
- The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus
- Paris the Hip-Hop Juggler
- Circus performer Cate Great
There will also be a pop-up store from the New York Homemade Collective, which includes handmade goods from a variety of different types of venders.
If it rains, the West Side County Fair will be moved to September 15. You can check for weather updates two-hours before the event, on the Conservancy’s website.
