An unidentified 13-year-old boy was arrested on Thursday afternoon in connection with an alleged anti-Semitic incident that occurred on April 2, near West 86th Street and West End Avenue, according to an NYPD spokesperson.
The individual was charged with Aggravated Harassment, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Menacing. He had allegedly threatened other teens with a sword. No other arrests were made, police said. They did not indicate whether these were felony or misdemeanor charges, nor whether the individual was charged with a Hate Crime.
Good. Enough.
13 Y.O?????? Let him go he is only a child.
I appreciate WSR cutting off comments here. The article is simply factually and because the arrested person is a minor, no name will be given. Assuming he is prosecuted in family court, which is likely due to his age, the trial and its record will be sealed. WSR will therefore have no additional information and further public conjecture on the matter will be just that.
West Side Rag: Please remove the photos of the children from your website. The NYPD has taken these photos down from the Crime Watchers system. If your purpose was to help find these minors, that purpose is no longer relevant. If these were your kids you would not want their pictures being spread on social media.
