The free outdoor Central Park Film Festival is back next week!
This year the Central Park Conservancy will screen movies that showcase various parts of New York, and they’ll be showing the first two films at a new venue: Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem. Adding screenings at Marcus Garvey is part of the conservancy’s ramped-up efforts to help other parks in the city.
The festival starts on Monday at Marcus Garvey and then shifts to Central Park on Wednesday. See the full lineup below.

Rain or shine, gates open at 6:30 pm, movies begin at 8:00 pm. A guest DJ will perform from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Cool Haus Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwiches and Andy’s Italian Ices available for purchase.

I would imagine that it wouldn’t be difficult to do. Maybe I’m wrong but aren’t they playing the movies from DVD format? Most DVD media has captions even in different languages.
