Upper West Side landlord Eli Kadoch was charged with 67 counts of unlawful surveillance after prosecutors say they found evidence he had secretly videotaped two women living in his building at 7 West 82nd street. The scheme was allegedly discovered by a graduate student who had moved into the building in 2013 after Kadosh offered her free rent in exchange for cleaning and maintenance duty. But she said she found a high-powered video camera hidden in the bathroom, and claimed in a lawsuit that the landlord had filmed her while she was naked and had a live feed of the video. A criminal complaint said there was even an image of Kadosh installing the camera in a digital clock.
Prosecutors say they found images of another tenant on Kadosh’s hard drive during a search. On Monday, Kadosh pleaded not guilty. His lawyer did not respond to a request for comment.

My first note of appreciation!
Thank you for the recognition, it means a lot to me UWS Dept.
See you around the neighborhood.
P.S. Did these evnts have anything to do with Rent Regulations? There is a nasty landlord involved.
Or does it have something to do with race? I haven’t seen the clips of either the vics or perp.
Most things on this site all seem to get connected to Rent Regulations through some tortuous Commenting.
Thank you for your recent inquiry, Mr. Boy.
Unfortunately, the UWS Dept. of Comment is unable to ascertain that information.
As the Dept. of Comment, we thank you for your comment.
Don’t forget to comment on your comment. Again, we thank you for your comment. We are the UWS Dept. of Comment.

It’s like that other-Baldwin movie, Sliver, but creepier.
Kadoch likes to Watch.
There are places you can pay for that Elliot.
Not like the former Governors choice tho’
Hilarious comments all! Would you have been just as ‘funny’ if those women had been your wives, sisters, mothers?
That’s cold Wally.
Why did you go out of your way to criticize?
Small Wally? just askin’
feel bigger?
Dannyboy, name calling, Tsk, tsk, tsk!
Again: you know what’s cold? Making fun (comment, thank you for comment, Dept. of Comment, etc.) in a report about the virtual rape of women. That is NOT funny, and calling people out on that is not cold, and is in need need of criticizing.
