The body was found under some bushes not far from the Albert Bertel Thorvaldsen sculpture.
The body of a 95-year-old man who had been missing from his East 90th street apartment since Oct. 21 was found Thursday morning in Central Park, according to the site A Walk in the Park:
“The discovery was made at approximately 9:25 a.m. this morning under some bushes btw. 96/97th Street near Fifth Avenue not far from the Albert Bertel Thorvaldsen sculpture.
His pants were down and their was no obvious sign of trauma, according to law enforcement sources.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.”

Why is it relevant that his pants were down? The story is sad enough as it is.
While it is tragic and sad, I DO think it is relevant – indicates that there may have been some sick kind of sexual assault either done to him or by him. So, it’s relevant. Terrible, but relevant.
..or he really had to go and had a stroke while pushing.
I hear you, but the report said no signs of trauma. To me, a 95 year old with his pants down sounds like the result of confusion or necessity (bathroom). It just seems odd and disrespectful to the family. You’re right though, something could have happened that did not leave trauma.
Maybe he was out for a walk and had to relieve himself. I wouldn’t read into it too much.
