A man’s body was found floating in the Hudson River this afternoon, but his identity is still unclear.
“A witness spotted the unidentified man floating near West 68th Street and Riverside Drive about 12:40 p.m. and called 911, police said. The NYPD’s Harbor Unit responded and transported the body to the Boat Basin docks at West 79th Street,” DNAinfo reported.
NYPD did not have information on the man’s identity. We’ll update this if we learn his name.
West 68th Street and Riverside Drive? No such place.
Good point! It’s Riverside Blvd down there. But I doubt anyone could see a body down the cliff and past the highway. More likely someone on the Greenway called it in. But don’t blame Westsider, he’s quoting DNAinfo!
it was in riverside park by 68th street and it was by the pier that someone spotted the body not from the henry hudson parkway
