A play, politics, and a pop-up concert are some of your excellent local options over the next few days.
Let’s Weekend!
March 21st to 25th, 2025
The Picture of Dorian Gray, at the Music Box Theater, 239 West 45th Street, showtimes and tickets here
Sarah Snook, the Australian actress best known for her role as Shiv Roy on “Succession,” plays dozens of characters from Oscar Wilde’s 1890 masterpiece in this Olivier-winning production. Tickets aren’t cheap, but you can enter the lottery for two $49 tickets here. The New York Times calls the show “a darkly funny triumph,” and The Washington Post says it’s “revolutionary, remarkable and dazzling.” Snook and the show have gotten loads of media attention in the lead-up to opening night, March 27, from The New Yorker, Vogue, and even Runner’s World. I’m excited to see it in previews tomorrow!
