There are not many celebrities more connected to the Upper West side than Jerry Seinfeld.
The comedian has lived on the Upper West Side for years in his real life, and the hit sitcom “Seinfeld” was famously set in the neighborhood.
Seinfeld is adding to his Upper West Side activities starting in January with the beginning of his residency at the Beacon Theatre. He’ll perform a total of 12 shows from January 12 to March 9 within the iconic theater at 2124 Broadway, between West 74th and 75th streets.
There will be six nights of performances, with two shows on each of the dates starting at 7 p.m., and then again at 9:30 p.m.
Here are the performance dates.
- January 12
- January 13
- February 2
- February 3
- March 8
- March 9
You can find out more and check out ticket prices on the Beacon’s website.

On behalf of the home bound community, please consider a simulcast or at least a recording.
One of his earlier shows at the Beacon was available on Netflix. Hopefully they’ll do the same in 2024. : )
So glad about Seinfeld. &
does anyone know when Morton Williams Supermarket will open on Broadway &68 street?
I walked by last week and many of the shelves were stocked with chips and cans, at least the ones that can be seen from the outside. One of the construction workers said that the market will open in early spring. We shall see …
Are the tickets affordable for us 99%??
If 12 shows is a “residency” then the Allman Brothers are permanent residents.
And often Bob Dylan in Novembers.
He just wants a gig he can walk to.
