Power rangers, princesses, Travis Kelces, Taylor Swifts, dinosaurs, jedis, lions, and more all funneled through West 69th Street between Broadway and Central Park West on Tuesday night to take in the Halloween decorations — and most importantly — acquire as much candy as possible.
The stretch was closed to traffic from 6 to 8 p.m., allowing thousands of costumed children with parents hollering reminders to stay within eyesight to make their way through the spooky spectacular.
The majority of buildings on the 69th Street corridor had lavish Halloween decorations, including one address between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues that had completely transformed itself into a pirate ship.
Nearby, kids stared wide eyed as fully costumed acrobats propelled themselves up and down the front of a building, which featured a dancing skeleton and a sword-fighting pirate. Other buildings had disco themes, scary flashing lights, and a doorman-led dance party.

An unnamed West Side Rag reporter foolishly thought bringing two bags of candy would sustain trick-or-treaters during the walk between avenues, only to find all his mini-Snickers and Milky Way bars gone in under 90 seconds.
Here are a few more photos from Tuesday night.

Rookie move!
Thanks to all who contributed!

This celebration occurs between CPW and Broadway. The building you referenced is actually between Broadway and Columbus.
