File this under we-didn’t-know-about-it-in-advance either!
There was a total lunar eclipse late Sunday night into Monday morning, according to The New York Times. “Those on the East Coast can watch our natural satellite start to turn an eerie copper-red color at around 11:30 p.m. Eastern time during one of the longest lunar eclipses in recent memory.”
Luckily, Victor L., a reader, was vigilant. “I am reaching out as I could not resist sharing a photo I just took of the blood moon with our very own water tanks,” he wrote.
If any other readers also took photos, please send them in to info@westsiderag.com and we’ll post.
Thanks, Victor.
