A small fire broke out on the roof of Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall at 10 Lincoln Center Plaza around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, a Lincoln Center spokesperson confirmed with WSR.
Videos of the incident on Citzen app showed multiple FDNY units responding to the scene. But when WSR visited the site at 7:00 a.m., construction workers seemed to be proceeding as usual with the ongoing renovation of the concert hall. “Thankfully it wasn’t anything major,” said one worker.
“[The fire] was extinguished without injuries or significant damage to the building’s exterior,” said the spokesperson. “We are working closely with FDNY in recovery from the incident and with Turner Construction to investigate the cause; the incident will not impact the opening timeline.”

We live above; I can’t see any sign of fire.
