Happy Update: Billy, the dog described as lost below has been found! Here he is reunited with his relieved owner Philippe.
By Lisa Kava
Billy, a 37-pound, seven-year-old black cocker spaniel mix went missing on Saturday March 18th at 11:45 PM near 110th Street and Central Park West. Billy is friendly and loves tennis balls, his owner, Philippe Guillaud, said.
Billy was wearing a red harness and red NYC Health Department tag, with the ID # 347449 when he was lost. A passerby told Philippe that she saw four men holding a black dog walking east on 110th Street. Philippe checked with Animal Care Centers (ACC) on East 110th Street, but did not find Billy there.
If you have any information or have seen Billy, please contact Philippe at 347-867-3143. A reward will be offered.
Glad he is found!!

Such WONDERFUL news!!! I am so happy for you!
Thank goodness! I’m so happy his dog was found.
Thank G-d Billy was found and he and his dad are together again!!! I’m so happy for this news!
Quite frankly, I am so happy to read the news that Billy is reunited with his relieved owner Philippe because any loss of a dog simply breaks my heart and it is such a miracle that this one has been found. Of course, any dog is devoted to its owner and it is a huge distress for both dog and owner. I think that people’s cohesion and engagement is really important in a search process and it plays a huge role in implementing it successfully. I really hope that a lot of people were not indifferent to this situation because, otherwise, there would be a huge probability that Billy would not have been found so quickly. Also, I really hope that Billy won’t get lost anymore and that this wonderful dog will be protected. I’m still so happy that this doggie has reunited with its owner!
