Thank you very much for posting this! I have a stack of toys that my kids received and never used that they have now outgrown and are looking for a good home.
Please add that the toys need to be NEW and in original package. Not used.
Somewhat off-topic: Does anyone know if there’s a coat drive this year? Pre-pandemic, it was possible to drop off good used coats at the 20th Precinct for distribution to those who needed them.
Yes re: Coats: You can drop off at P.S. 145 on 105th btwn Amsterdam and Columbus 9am to 5:30pm on school weekdays.
You can donate new/lightly used coats at PS87 on 77th
Thanks, Rochelle, Raleigh, Norm….
Yes. The 20th precinct is collecting coats this year. They started a few weeks ago.
Thanks, Betsy.
CBS…W 57th Street also has a TFT collection box.
I wish Toys for Tots accepted not “brand new” but “like new” toys. Many of us could easily find some of those around the house and we should normalize re-gifting (which are always welcomed as gifts for my own kids). There’s enough plastic junk from China already in circulation!
