Love summer time in New York…
What a treat for we New Yorkers! I look forward to this every year. A fabulous opportunity to listen to world class music while picnicking under the stars in a world class location!
I have been attending these concerts for more than 20 years because I love classical music, and yes New York is great in the Summer because of events like these. However unless you are in the first few tiers near the stage it is impossible to truly enjoy these events. If you are back by the baseball field or near the Porto all you hear is chatter and you simply cannot just take in the music and enjoy it the way it was meant to be enjoyed, in relative quiet. Having said that I will be there tonight!
