Thanksgiving is next Thursday and there are ways for people on the Upper West Side to give or get turkeys in the days ahead.
The West Side Campaign Against Hunger is holding its annual turkey drive, dubbed the Thousand Turkey Challenge. The nonprofit allows you to bring in a turkey to 263 West 86th Street (Mon, Nov 19 from 9am-8pm; Tues, Nov 20 from 9am-8pm; Wed, Nov 21 from 9am-1pm), buy a turkey through an online donation, or even text a turkey. Learn more here. To learn how to get food from the nonprofit’s pantry, click here.
Local real estate broker Jason Haber is giving out turkeys from noon to 7pm on Tuesday at Goddard riverside at 647 Columbus Avenue. The turkeys have been reserved, but he is collecting names for a wait list here.
I bet it’s driving without a license.
