Someone has been spray-painting a ice-cream-looking shape on buildings throughout Columbus Avenue in recent days. What’s the deal? Is it Old Man Winter, Mr. Softee or Cookie Puss?
It’s been spotted on the construction in front of the Museum of Natural History between 79th and 80th.
The vacant former Coffee bean and Tea Leaf at 79th.
And on the Columbus Avenue side of 100 west 78th street.

I’d ignore him in the media.
That’s not how the news business works. Those designs are visible to thousands of people, WSR is just putting what anybody could see into context and maybe encouraging somebody who knows what it means to come forward.
Off-brand Banksy. His name is Dansky.
Banksy stole his rat from another tagger so he is as well a copycat
Looks Sinister Like a teardrop… Not an ice Cream…..
It’s okay. They’ll give the rookies in the precinct a can of spray paint to go and paint over it and post the photo on Twitter. Go kid go!! It’s a nice shade of orange too!
