If you’ve passed by 92nd street and West End Avenue lately, you may have seen several press trucks parked outside.
That’s because former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman lives there. Reporters have been camped out there for multiple days to see if he’ll say anything about the allegations that he slapped and choked women, first reported in the New Yorker. Schneiderman resigned on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, one neighbor tossed a paper airplane out of the window with a message for reporters: “If you want me to come down, first send a large pepperoni pizza and a 6 pack of Heineken to apt. 7G. Then, maybe I’ll come down. E.”
So this note floated down from Eric Schneiderman's apartment building, folded as a paper plane: pic.twitter.com/4pN3C4VCOk

Schneiderman did leave the house on Wednesday, telling reporters to “have a nice day,” according to the Daily News.
I walked by them at 9:30pm. One truck had his front tire on the sidewalk. No respect.
That was the Spectrum truck, our beloved cable provider. They were blocking a fire hydrant for almost two days.
Where are the protesters? Must be in midtown…
No one cares.
Cos he’s a democrat
He resigned. A Republican might not have.
Got the story wrong. I was there. He used the side freight door hiding out then ran to his drivers car.
Who cares – let Eric continue to do the great job he’s been doing . He should never have resigned
I agree
His accomplishments and anti-Trump activity outweigh allegations.
Lol I used to envy you upper west siders. I’m now very satisfied with not living amongst this hypocritical myopic discourse.
By the way I’ve made some pretty great accomplishments and am as anti-Trump as you can be. Guess I have the green light by you morons to physically and emotionally abuse a few people now.
They absolutely do not. The next AG can easily pick up where he left off.
I just read the current New Yorker article on Schneiderman closely. The concurrence of allegations from several unrelated people suggest that indeed he has a personal problem to struggle with (drink) that has gone unchecked but might have been reversed by now had it been confronted earlier. Again, too bad he quit office.
@Deborah Cardona, @wombatnyc please oh please tell me you are being sarcastic and I am just too dense to catch on. Give me the benefit of the doubt. I don’t want to believe you are moronic but you’re not giving me much to work with here.
A lovely book @ pizza & some other classic baked goods;; maybe @ Naples, Italy. n.b. Chicago style pizza; &, London, Eng.; &, near Poitiers, France. A book by a guy who went to [all ?] of pizzerias in N.Y.C. ? n.b. Czech pilsner beer; &, Al Catulo’s radio program on A.M. radio. A book @ paper airplanes. I’m a survivor of mo’ than child abuse. Hope that N.Y.A.G. Eric Schneiderman has a correct court hearing. I miss some of West End Ave.. So wrong to physically abuse people, &, animals. P.S. Also, Danish, Belgian, W. German beers !
I can’t help but have a very negative stereotype of modern-day wealthy upper west siders. The comments so far (which I presume come from wealthy Upper West Siders are either relating to the inconvenience and disrespect caused by the press trucks or saying that he should not have resigned because of the great job he has done so far in Senate & and as AG. It sounds sad and pathetic. He SHOULD have resigned as he is a hypocritical scum.
Why is it the Democrats that decide to resign?
Clearly Eric has a have a moral compass that he knows has has run a muck and filled shame.
The allegations would interfere with him doing his job .
Unlike all the holly rollers in the the Republican Party who don’t give a shit and carry-on, stay in office or run in elections, they have no shame.
He’s a Democrat, it’s OK if you’re a Democrat!
And it wasn’t even a DOG DAY AFTERNOON!
