Police are looking for the man depicted at right for breaking into the mailroom of a building in the West 100’s three times during April.
They say he used a card and his shoulder to get in, and each time opened the packages in the mailroom and stole items. He is described as a black man likely between the ages of 40 and 50.
The exact location of the building isn’t specified, just that it’s in the area of Central Park West and Manhattan Avenue, which run parallel from West 100th to 110th.
Pix11 spoke to the building manager and he said that the building had “installed latch protectors on the doors and a new inside steel door.” The manager said he suspects the thief may be working with a team in the area.
