A very long line stretched down West 86th street as people from throughout the city gathered at the Jewish Center to mourn three Israeli teenagers — Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Frankel and Gilad Shaar — who were kidnapped and killed near Hebron. The line in the photos was just from the overflow, said Kenneth, who took the photos. The photo at the bottom is from Councilman Mark Levine inside the service.

I wish I had known about this. I would have gone to pay my respects.
very tragic for all of the families involved. However, I do belive that there ios an over-reaction from Israel . Do we really need to bomb Hamas strongholds as retribution??
Hundreds of houses were raided, buildings were bombed, and 2 people were killed in the search for these 3 boys. Then, 2 days ago a Palestinian boy was kidnapped and murdered in retaliation. The Jewish community is rightfully saddened by this event but is all too good at turning a blind eye to the horrors they inflict on others.
Not a blind eye, but enough is enough.
and retaliation is what those people understand. The fear of it, is what keeps them from completely destroying Israel.
I wish Jews would have reacted the same way in Nazi occupied Europe. But I am sure there where plenty of other Jews that said don’t make trouble this will pass.
Never again
