Heard about some more volunteering/aid needs to add to the story we posted yesterday.

Evacuees have been transported to two Centers:
Consolidation Evacuation Center is in
George Washington High School.
549 Audubon Avenue at 192nd StreetThey really need volunteer and they really need supplies.
The biggest need they have is wipes because they don’t have a way for the guests to bathe or shower.
Also they need blankets, clothes, toys for the kids at the shelter.

H.S. of Graphic Communication Arts439 West 49th Street (between 9th and 10th Avenues)
The greatest need for Volunteers are from 4:00 PM Friday night through 8:00 AM Saturday morning. Saturday daytime volunteers are also needed.They need wipes.
They need toys, coloring books, crayons, and adult clothes.
They need more warm blankets. Everyone was cold last night.
We need drivers with cars to bring supplies to the shelter at 7:15 PM tonight and individuals to assist with carrying them.

Update: the 49th street shelter has enough clothing and other items, workers there said when we came to drop stuff off.
Would like to know what is especially needed on Saturday and Sunday!
