104th Street Block Fair: On Saturday, you can shop for gently used clothing, jewelry, and household items at more than 60 stalls; browse more than 1,000 used books and CDs; bid on gift certificates and merchandise; select a home baked dessert; take a chance on a raffle worth 100’s of dollars; enjoy refreshments and live music; and help keep a neighborhood safe and beautiful. Street Fair: The Bloomingdale Area Coalition will be hosting a street fair from 96th to 103rd Street on Broadway on Sunday.
Wild Bird Fund Open House: On Sunday, from 1 – 6 pm you can tour the Wild Bird Fund’s new Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center. In the landmark storefront at 565 Columbus Avenue (between 87th & 88th streets), over 100 birds await your visit. Licensed wildlife rehabilitators show rehab cases and techniques, featuring live birds and animals. Children will enjoy animal arts and crafts and the opportunity to meet some wild babies.
