News:
An unidentified 49-year-old man who lives at 698 West End Avenue (near 94th Street) jumped from the roof of the building on Friday morning at around 6:30 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene. As a neighbor on Everyblock wrote: “This was a friend of mine. He was a kind and caring person who struggled for a long time and he will be sorely missed. Other than the call I received, I haven’t found additional information online, but to other neighbors out there, if you see someone in trouble, over react instead of under. It’s always the safe bet.” (NY Post, fifth item)
Upper West Side zipcodes are among the biggest donors nationwide to President Obama, while the Upper East Side has many of the biggest donors to Mitt Romney. Three UWS zip codes have given Obama $1.7 million. (BusinessWeek)
I live on the UWS, but I will absolutely be donating to Mitt Romney. In fact, if I could bill Obama for a refund of my tax dollars, I would.
I knew in passing the man who killed himself. Our dogs sometimes played together. He was a very kind and thoughtful gentleman. He will be missed in the neighborhood.
Well, Betsey. You are wasting your money.
Today the GOP is trying to outlaw abortion 2 weeks before you might be pregnant. I’d like to send you the bill for all that. Personally.
I also knew the man that committed suicide that you mention in this article. He was a kind and wonderful person with such a warm and loving heart. He had many friends that loved him dearly. He will be missed, by both his two legged and four legged friends.
